Every Friday night through September 4, downtown Las Vegas gets its own fireworks show above the Plaza’s Rooftop Pool – a display inspired by the classic Disneyland finale, visible across much of downtown.
Doors to the Rooftop Pool open at 7 pm, with fireworks going off at 9:10 pm. Each week’s show kicks off with a different guest – sometimes a hotel guest, sometimes a local figure – lighting the first spark.
You can watch from the street, but the Rooftop Pool is the spot for it – drinks in hand, a live crowd, and a clear view straight overhead. Cabanas that seat up to seven are available to reserve for an unobstructed sightline.
Registered hotel guests 21+ can also sign up to be the night’s official “TNT Ignitor,” lighting the first firework – a popular add-on for bachelor and bachelorette parties, weddings, and other celebrations.
