The Las Vegas Book Festival sets up at the Historic Fifth Street School for a full day of author talks, panel discussions, and browsing, with admission free for anyone who wants to stop by.
This year’s lineup includes Tony Weaver Jr., Natalie Baszile, Ayana Gray, Clarence A. Haynes, Kimberly Lemming, Meghan Le Fay, Vanessa L. Torres, and Yasmin Angoe. One panel worth flagging: journalist Jon Ralston sits down with political analyst Steve Sebelius for “Harry Reid: Then & Now,” a look back at the late senator’s legacy.
The festival is put on by Nevada Humanities and the City of Las Vegas, with backing from the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and Clark County Parks & Recreation.
